A man was shot and killed Wednesday night in the Woodlands Condominiums, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton confirmed.
Marcus Campbell, 21, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the autopsy. His death was ruled a homicide.
It is the second killing of a 21-year-old man in the township in five days. Demond Cottman, of Atlantic City, was shot and killed Friday outside the Hamilton Mall. His 26-year-old brother was wounded.
Police were called to Ivy Bush Court in the Woodlands at 6:33 Wednesday night for a reported shooting.
The man's identity was withheld until Friday afternoon, when Ruberton confirmed it was Campbell.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:51 p.m. by AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center physician, Dr. Erban.
A family member told breakingAC that the victim leaves behind a daughter, with another baby girl on the way.
