Atco man admits to child endangerment by sexual conduct with 11-year-old

  • News

An Atco man who told police he was "dating" an 11-year-old girl after he was found inside a car with her has pleaded guilty to child endangerment by sexual conduct.
Euno Roque-Guerrero, 27, faces five years in prison under the plea agreement, and could also be deported after his sentence is complete. He also must register under Megan's Law and had to forfeit a pharmacy technician registration.
Hammonton police responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping plaza just before midnight Feb. 20, found Roque-Guerrero and the girl inside the car.
When asked if he was related to the girl, Roque-Guerrero said yes, then said he was dating the girl but that they couldn't go back to either of their homes due to their 16-year age difference.
An investigation by Hammonton police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Detective Dan Choe found that the two had been in a dating relationship. Roque-Guerrero admitted kissing the girl and touching her buttocks.
He is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 29, before Superior Court Judge Michael Blee.

UPDATE:

Roque-Guerrero was released from the Southern State Correctional Facility on Oct. 21, 2019.
He is not listed on the public Megan's Law registry for New Jersey.
