Cousins guilty of conspiring to kill man, but not for his killing

Two cousins were convicted of conspiring to murder a Vineland man, but acquitted of murdering him by an Atlantic County jury this week.
Vincent Williams was pronounced dead July 3, 2014, after State Police from the Buena Vista station were called to 9th Street in Buena Vista Township for a man lying in road with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Hykeem Martin was arrested Jan. 30, 2015, and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. His cousin Dominique Washington was arrested in Pennsylvania last September
Martin, 25, of Buena Vista Township, and Washington, 27, face 10 to 20 years in prison when they are sentenced Sept. 29 before Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury. They would have to serve 85 percent without parole for whatever time they are given under the No Early Release Act.
Both have been jailed since their arrests.
