Shots fired in Atlantic City

Atlantic City police responded to shots fired just before midnight Saturday. No one was injured in the shooting on the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. A witness told BreakingAC that they heard shots as they were leaving the bus station on Atlantic Avenue, and that the sound seemed to come from the area of the Popeye's across the street. "Within five or six seconds, cops were right there," said the witness, who did not want to be named. Shell casings were recovered, police said.
