A hazmat accident on the bridge closed the Atlantic City Expressway out of Atlantic City on Wednesday morning, Atlantic City's Office of Emergency Management said.
It could be several hours before the area is reopened, the office said at about 6:15 a.m.
Motorists should take Routes 40 or 30, or access the expressway via the Atlantic City Connector, police said.
No further information was available about the accident.
