Pair wanted for allegedly running drug-facility out of Brigantine home

A man and woman are wanted for allegedly running a drug-distribution facility out of a Brigantine home. More than $150,000 worth of drugs were recovered in two separate investigations into drug-distribution facilities led jointly by Atlantic City police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. An Absecon man is in custody for allegedly running a drug-distribution facility out of his home. On Jan. 2, officers found 6,400 bags of heroin, 210 grams of cocaine and drug-distribution paraphernalia after searching a residence on the 4900 block of Harbour Beach Boulevard in Brigantine, and a vehicle on Jan. 2, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The home and car belonged to Chris McLean, who was the target of the investigation, according to the report. McLean, 41, and his alleged co-conspirator, 26-year-old Chanell Summers, are both wanted. They are charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute, and one count each of conspiracy and maintaining a drug-production facility. Three days later, Atlantic City police and the Task Force searched Oyster Bay Condominiums in Absecon and found 264 grams of raw, uncut heroin, 4 ounces of packaged heroin, 12 grams of fentanyl, 2 ounces of cocaine, 14 ounces of marijuana and drug-distribution paraphernalia. James “Toby” Gallaway, 38, was arrested and charged with three counts each of possession and possession with intent to distribute, along with possession within a school zone and maintaining a drug-production facility. The three-month investigations were led by Atlantic City Police Detective Darrin Lorady, who is currently assigned to the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
