Pleasantville man charged with sex assaults on two children

A Pleasantville man is charged with multiple counts in connection with the sexual assaults of two children.
Sherron Scott, 32, is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner announced Monday.
Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit and Egg Harbor Township police arrested Scott on Friday, after a months-long investigation.
A detention hearing is set for Wednesday before Superior Court Judge Benjamin Podolnick.
The case was investigated by Det. Sgt. William Adamson and is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant Prosecutor Danielle Buckley.
