Man shot in Atlantic City


Atlantic City police are investigating a shooting that wounded one man.
A man showed up to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus with a gunshot wound at about 8:45 p.m., shortly after the city’s ShotSpotter gunshot audio detection system alerted police to shots in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue, police said.
The victim is a 35-year-old Atlantic City man. Police are not releasing his name.
The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
