EHC school deemed safe after bomb threat

  • News
A bomb threat at the Egg Harbor City Community School turned out to be false, police said. Students were evacuated Thursday morning after the threat came in. Atlantic County Sheriff’s K-9 Officers Tonya Perednas with her partner Dyno and Joseph Kleinow with his partner Max responded to the school, and checked the building for any threats, police said. Nothing was found. Police lauded the schools students and staff "for their quick or orderly evacuation," and also thanked parents and community members for keeping the area clear.
