U.S. Supreme Court clears way for sports betting in N.J.

New Jersey can finally get sports betting, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled.
The majority of justices ruled that federal law does not bar sports betting.
The news comes after a long-fought battle to be able to allow the betting in Atlantic City, as Las Vegas has been allowed to do.
The vote was 6-3, with Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer dissenting.
Shares of MGM Resorts and Penn National Gaming climbed after the ruling, MarketWatch reported, with MGM up 1.92 percent and PENN up 3.78 percent.
