Admitted leader of drug-trafficking network sentenced to 18 years in prison

  • News
The admitted leader of a drug-trafficking network was sentenced to 18 years in prison Friday. Frank Gulli, 38, who had several residences in Atlantic County, pleaded guilty in May to leading a narcotics-trafficking network, possession of more than a half-ounce of heroin and/or fentanyl and possession of heroin/fentanyl in a public zone. He must serve at least half his sentence before he is eligible for parole. Detectives seized more than 80 bricks of heroin and fentanyl — or about 4,000 packets. Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner has heralded the case as the epitome of intra-agency cooperation, with detectives from Brigantine, Linwood and Egg Harbor Township making the case. https://breakingac.com/2018/05/atlantic-county-man-admits-to-leading-drug-trafficking-network/ Gulli had residences in Egg Harbor Township, Brigantine, Somers Point and Margate. The first search was at his Brigantine home by Detective John Glasser on March 17, 2017, Tyner said. There were then two searches in Linwood on April 27 and May 1, 2017, with warrants initiated by Detective Charles Champion. An Egg Harbor Township residence was searched July 11, 2017, with a warrant initiated by Detective Richard Vogt.
