The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the deaths of two women inside a Ventnor condominium.
Ventnor police had been on the scene of the Vassar Square Condominiums since the morning, neighbors said.
Two women were found inside an eighth-floor apartment in what Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said is believed to be an isolated incident.
"It's bizarre," said a resident who did not want to be identified. "There's lunatics everywhere."
He said the building is a nice place, which has seen residents get younger.
Ricki Herman said her parents live in the building and that they were surprised to return from breakfast to see police and hear news that two people were dead.
"There is no apparent danger to the public," Tyner said in a release.
