The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit was called to the scene at 1 p.m., and the victim was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, according to a post by the office.
Major Crimes is usually the lead investigation agency in homicides, but the prosecutor’s post said only that the victim remains at the hospital and the investigation is ongoing.
