Atlantic City man shot twice in two days in Pleasantville

  • News
An Atlantic City man was the victim of two shootings in two days in Pleasantville. Two juveniles and a Pleasantville man have been charged in connection with the attacks. Mark Fuller, 19, was shot in the back Sunday with a projectile just before 1 p.m. in the area of the bike path overpass at the Black Horse Pike, Capt. Matt Hartman said. Officers recovered a firearm in that area near Decatur Avenue during a check of the area, according to the report. He was treated and released from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus. No suspects were identified. Then, police were called to a male shot in the area of Fourth Street and Woodland Avenue at 2:41 p.m. Monday. While Patrol Officers Daniel Davis and Kendall Washington were on the way to the call, they saw several males running from the area of Adams Avenue and New Road, and called other units to chase them, Hartman said. Washington, along with K-9 Officer Korey Crosby and his partner, Ace, caught a juvenile boy from Galloway Township in the 500 block of West Adams Avenue. Davis and Sgt. Ryan VanSyckle caught Trevon Naylor, 19, of Pleasantville, and another juvenile Pleasantville boy in the 600 block of Oneida Avenue. Crosby and Ace then found two firearms in the same area where Naylor and the other teen were taken in. Fuller was found at New Road and Adams Avenue, this time with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. He was again taken to the Atlantic City hospital, where he was treated and released. Violent Crimes Unit Detectives Pablo Solorzano and Mike Figueroa and Sgt. Brandon Stocks conducted the follow up investigations leading to several charges against the Pleasantville juvenile for both shooting incidents. Naylor and the Galloway juvenile were charged in Monday’s shooting.
