They found him with 35 bags of heroin and five grams of cocaine and arrested him at 1:09 p.m., according to the report.
Detectives searched Chapman’s vehicle after Brian Hambrecht’s K-9 partner, Nikki, indicatd there were drugs, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
They found an additional 250 bags of heroin, Fair said.
The investigation was led by Sgt. Richard Andrews and Detective Nick Berardis.
Chapman, 25, was found with about $1,600 worth of marijuana — more than 162 grams — in 2015, according to police at that time.
He is on probation for a theft charge to which he pleaded guilty last year, court records show.
This time, Chapman was released on a summons.
