Human-trafficking defendant beat women ‘as if they were grown men,’ witness claims

An Atlantic City man who allegedly used threats, violence and drugs to force women into prostitution was ordered held pending trial Thursday. A Bridgeton man pleaded guilty to human trafficking for sex with an adult victim Wednesday.
