A Galloway Township man who fled police on a dirt bike was caught Saturday, after crashing. David Anderson, 42, was captured by Pleasantville police after crashing his bike and then trying to rum, police Capt. Matthew Hartman said. Members of the city’s Street Crimes and General Investigation units arrested him in the area of Tilton Road and McKinley Avenue. He is charged with eluding police and resisting arrest and received eight motor vehicle summonses.
A man wanted in an Atlantic City shooting was arrested this week after allegedly threatening and robbing a witness. Bryan Miranda, 23, has been wanted in the March 31 shooting of 39-year-old Luis Torres. Detective Steve Melchiore recently found out that Miranda was in Atlantic City,and an alert was sent out to all officers with his description. An Atlantic City man was arrested after a stabbing inside a convenience store Friday night. Michael Wynn, 45, was found stabbed at about 12:30 p.m., after a panic alarm was set off at the store in the 2500 block of Pacific Avenue. Police are looking for a teenager missing from Atlantic City since June 18. Sean Gwyn Jr., 14, had last been seen at his aunt’s home in Atlantic City, where he was wearing a black Nike shirt, blue jeans and black-and-red sneakers. Pleasantville police did spot the teen, but he ran from detectives trying to take him home to his mother.
