Man wounded in Pleasantville shooting

Pleasantville police are investigating a shooting that wounded a 24-year-old Tuckerton man Friday afternoon. Marven Barreau, was shot while driving on Doughty Road at about 4 p.m., Capt. Matt Hartman said. He then crashed into a pole near Portland Avenue. Barreau suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. He was treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, and released. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 609-641-6100.
