Atlantic City police investigating after car crashes into building

The car jumped the curb and crashed into 2505 Pacific Avenue before 10 p.m. Sources on the scene said the driver fled. But police said they were not looking for anyone. Atlantic City man helps rescue woman trapped in car that went into the bay

An Atlantic City man saved a woman after the car she was a passenger in went into the bay off Fairmount Avenue early Sunday morning. Officers were called to the 3600 block at 4:36 a.m., and found the car fully submerged and three people needing medical attention. The driver, a 29-year-old Absecon man, had crashed through the bulkhead and into the bay. T.J. Andrews, who witnessed the crashed, dove in and helped the driver free
