Pleasantville man who allegedly ripped baton from A.C. officer’s belt will have detention hearing

A Pleasantville man who allegedly assaulted Atlantic City officers twice in the past three months will have a detention hearing next week. Jalial Whitted, 33, had his first appearance in court Thursday on charges he ripped an Atlantic City police officer’s baton from his belt, breaking the weapon.
