Two Atlantic City men were arrested Wednesday, for allegedly robbing and shooting a man last week. Christian Bolivar-Zapata and Jonathan Candelaria, both 18, are accused of shooting 45-year-old Andrew Carey on Friday morning. Carey, whose name was not released until the arrests, was found by officers responding to the report of a man shot just before 6 a.m. in the north block of Bellevue Avenue. A man was killed Sunday night in Atlantic City, police confirmed. Deshawn Dawkins, 27, was shot in the first block of South Virginia Avenue at about 9:15 p.m., Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said. A man was shot in the leg in Pleasantville on Saturday night. Police were called to the 400 block of Elm Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Then that a man was wounded, Capt. Man wounded in Pleasantville shooting

Pleasantville police are investigating a shooting that wounded a 24-year-old Tuckerton man Friday afternoon. Marven Barreau, was shot while driving on Doughty Road at about 4 p.m., Capt. Matt Hartman said. He then crashed into a pole near Portland Avenue. Barreau suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
