Two men have been arrested in the shooting of a man inside a casino valet area.
Xavier Smith, 25, was wounded in the shooting that started with a fight inside a club at The Quarter inside the Tropicana, police said.
The battle re-ignited in the south tower’s valet area just after 2:40 a.m., said Sgt. Joe Iacovone, of the city’s Violent Crimes Unit.
Police found shell casings at the scene, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Two videos posted to the atlanticcitycrust Instagram page captured a wounded Smith lying on the ground near Pacific Avenue bleeding, and the resident behind the camera is heard flagging down a police officer for help.
Eugene Storm and George Walker were identified through surveillance video with help from casino security, Fair said.
Storm, 23, of Pennsylvania, was found on Albion Place by K-9 Officer Marinela Pali.
A handgun was found in Storm’s jacket, which he had discarded, according to the report.
Walker, 30, of New York, was arrested by Detectives Leah Giercyk and Juliann Schwenger after he returned to the scene.
The two were charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, along with weapons offenses, possession of hollowpoint ammunition and tampering with evidence.
They were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $150,000 bail each.
