An Atlantic City woman assaulted a man for his pizza, police said.
Police were called to the beach block of Morris Avenue just after 2 a.m. Tuesday for the report of a man down on the ground from an assault.
Officers Tyler Daily and Sean Pettit found the 60-year-old man with an injury to his head after being struck, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
A woman stole his pizza and fled, the man said.
Witnesses were able to give a detailed description of the woman and which way she ran, Fair said.
At 2:24 a.m., K-9 Officer Marinela Pali found a woman matching that description near Georgia and Pacific avenues.
Michelle Brown, 24, was charged with robbery and is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
