Smoke was visible as far as Margate and Ventnor on Tuesday after as fire burned a furniture store on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.
Fire personnel were on scene at BH Furniture, across from the old Shore Mall.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked off as firefighters from companies including Farmington, Bargaintown and Somers Point worked.
No injuries were reported.
