Northfield police have released a sketch of the suspect who attacked a jogger at Birch Grove Park on May 7.
The 28-year-old victim told police that the man dropped his pants as she ran past him at about 4:30 p.m. that day, Capt. Steve Steinecke said. The suspect then lunged at her as he began to masturbate.
The woman was able to push the man away as he tried to grab her collar, according to the report.
A video also shows the man walking past a business.
He is described as a white or Hispanic male about 5-foot-11 and 25 to 35 years old. He has a thin build, round face, dark hair and a slight mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
The description matches that of a man who assaulted a woman at the park in 2017. No arrest was made in that case.
