Two men are jailed in an Atlantic City shooting that injured two people last year.
Henry Roman and Edwin Ruiz-Rosa are charged face two counts each of aggravated assault along with weapons offenses and conspiracy in the incident.
A ShotSpotter alert brought officers to the 100 block of North Texas Avenue just after 11 p.m. Nov. 27.
One man was found with a graze wound. The other was bruised after a bullet was stopped by his wallet, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.An investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to charges being filed against Roman and Ruiz-Rosa in December, Fair said.
Ruiz-Rosa, 25, of Pleasantville, was already in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in relation to a string of robberies.
Roman, 37, of Atlantic City, turned himself in last week at the Atlantic City Public Safety Building, Fair said Tuesday.Both men are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Note: The Atlantic County Justice Facility no longer provides mugshots to the media, citing the Atlantic County prosecutor’s order. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says it’s part of the Attorney General’s Guidelines. There is no such guideline, according to the Attorney General’s Office, but they have told these offices for years that they should not release any photos that appear to be mugshots.
