'Predator catchers' lead to 17 child luring arrests in Atlantic City

  • News

Atlantic City police arrested 17 men within about two weeks thanks to two YouTubers who run channels that catch those looking to meet minors for sex.

Cameron Decker MrWEB and Shafiq Blake Predator Catchers PA started their visit July 16. They met up with 17 men in Atlantic City. Those men allegedly were looking to meet up a minor but it was just a decoy account.

Instead, the YouTubers would confront the men on camera, and then police would show up.

Using screenshots of conversations and detailed information from the YouTubers, the men were taken into custody, charged with luring/enticing a child by various means.

Following an investigation by detectives of the Criminal Investigations Section, each individual was arrested and criminally charged.
