IBN HUNTER
IBN HUNTER WAS ARRESTED LAST YEAR AFTER A FACEBOOK VIDEO ALLEGEDLY SHOWED HIM HITTING HOMELESS WOMAN UNCONSCIOUS An Atlantic City man recently released on bail is now wanted for cutting off his ankle monitor. Ibn Hunter, 26, was arrested last year after a video taken in Atlantic City's Brown's Park showed a homeless woman being mocked and then knocked unconscious with one hit was made public on Facebook. Hunter was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Investigators claim he had a gun under his sleeve and used it to strike the woman, Emily Baccari. The page it was posted to allegedly belonged to Anthony Faulkner, who also was charged in the incident for allegedly filming the attack. Hunter was released on bail Sept. 10, according to Geraldine Cohen, warden of the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Some time Sunday night, there was an alert through the monitoring system. As is protocol, there was a one-hour search for Hunter, and then a warrant was issued, Cohen said. Hunter's problems have continued since his arrest. His mug shot, showing a bloodied bump on his forehead, was the result of him attacking a corrections officer when he was brought in, according to officials at the time. Then, this past May, photos from a visit to the jail were posted on Facebook by a loved one. That resulted in an investigation by the jail, since cameras and cell phones are not allowed in during visit. The offender was banned from visit, Cohen said Monday. But those last only 30 days, she said.
