Man stabbed, robbed in Atlantic City early Saturday

Atlantic City police are investigating a robbery in which a man was stabbed early Saturday morning. A 39-year-old city resident was stabbed and money taken in the area of Mount Vernon and Pacific avenues at about 4:45 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for an injury that was not considered life-threatening. The was only a limited description given of the suspect. The crime is being investigated by Detective Roberto Matos.
