A Philadelphia man was arrested in Northfield last week for promoting the prostitution of a minor.
Preston Bell, 26, was advertising the 16-year-old girl from Indonesia on Backpage.com, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said Monday.
Bell also took the girl to and from dates, Tyner said.
A detention hearing Wednesday resulted in Bell being released as his case goes through the court.
The arrest was the result of a five-month investigation led by Detective Aliya Simnor of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force.
