Pleasantville man wanted in Atlantic City shooting

A Pleasantville man is wanted for aggravated assault in an Atlantic City shooting that wounded a 25-year-old man in June.
Jiquan Cooper, 22 , of Pleasantville, also faces weapons offenses and a conspiracy charge in the shooting in the first block of Hartford Avenue.
Another man, 28-year-old Kevin Alicea, is already jailed. His charges include attempted murder.
Police were called to the scene near Boom market by a ShotSpotter alert at 11:39 p.m. June 7, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
They found the victim, whose name has not been released, with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
Alicea, of Atlantic City, was arrested July 27.
Cooper is being sought.
Police are asking for anyone who knows him or his whereabouts to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 609-347-5788. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411) beginning the text with ACPD.
