Rumors about a potential incident planned for Oakcrest High School have been cleared by police.
Hamilton Township police issued a statement Thursday night, saying they are aware of the rumors circulating on social media "regarding a potential incident taking place tomorrow," and have found "nothing of substance to support these rumors."
Oakcrest High School will begin at the normal time Friday.
Police did not indicate what the rumor was.
BreakingAC is choosing not to share the post that has been circulating on Facebook about the incident to lessen further spreading of the bad information.
Police put out a Nixel alert to calm any parents' concerns.
