A Toms River man was hospitalized after he crashed his car early Friday morning on Route 30 in Atlantic City.
Police were called to the crash at 2:13 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The vehicle was crashed in the grass in the westbound lane.
The driver, John Geiger III, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.
Geiger, 33, was charged with possession of marijuana.
