An Atlantic City man was arrested after police found nearly 700 bags of heroin, police said.
Michael Thomas, 56, was the target of a drug investigation led by Detective Albert Valles.
Thomas' home in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was raided Wednesday, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Officers recovered 690 bags of heroin and paraphernalia, according to the report.
Thomas is charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
