Three hospitalized in Galloway three-vehicle crash

  • News

Three people were hospitalized in a Galloway Township crash Monday evening.
Caitlin Juliano, 22, of Toms River, was stopped in the westbound lane of the White Horse Pike waiting to make a left onto Cologne Avenue when she was rear-ended at about 5:30 p.m., according to the report.
Matthew Banks, 36, of Mount Holly, failed to stop and struck Juliano’s Kia Sorrento, pushing it into oncoming traffic, Lt. Christopher McGinty said.
Juliano was then struck by an eastbound F-150 truck driven by Trevor Cohen, 49, of Brigantine.
Cohen’s vehicle then left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Juliano, Cohen and Banks all suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. They were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus for treatment.
The state Department of Transportation and Atlantic City Electric responded to assist with the road closure, McGinty said.

The road was closed for about two hours.
The accident is being investigated by Officer Cody Trout.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trout at (609) 652-3705, ext 5117.
