Egg Harbor Township police have identified the body of an Atlantic County man found Monday morning near the Walmart.
Police were called to eastbound shoulder of the Black Horse Pike near Oak Tree Plaza at about 7:21 a.m., Capt. Heath Per said.
They found a dead man in a grassy area adjacent to the road, according to the report.
He has been identified as Joseph Richardson II, 42, of Landisville in Buena Borough.
There were no obvious signs of foul play, but the investigation into cause of death is continuing.
Detectives Michael Santoro, Richard Vogt, and Katrina Cantell are investigating.
