An Atlantic City High School senior is being honored for her leadership.
Nadayser White was named the 2025 Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City.
“Nadayser represents everything we strive to nurture in our club members: dedication, compassion and a commitment to making a difference,” local club CEO Tracey Triniwell said. “From leading service projects with heart to pursuing higher education and real-world career experiences, she continues to grow in every way. Nadayser’s journey is inspiring not only to her peers, but to all of us who have had the privilege to watch her rise as a leader.”
The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle.
White, 17, has distinguished herself, especially in her active role in the Keystone Club, which provides leadership development opportunities for those ages 14 to 18.
Youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service.
For her part, White has led numerous community service initiatives, including organizing a Christmas dinner for residents of the Covenant House.
She earned her CPR certification and is currently taking college courses at Atlantic Cape Community College, made possible through a community partnership. White also is gaining hands-on experience in the medical field as part of the AtlantiCare YOUniversity Healthcare Cohort, which gives students hand-on experience outside the classroom and will pay for their education and compensate their work while learning.
White plans to pursue a career in social work.
The Youth of the Year will serve as ambassador for the club and will have the opportunity to compete for the state title in May, which includes a state reception and ceremony at Montclair State University.
