Pleasantville firefighters extinguish truck fire

  • Public Safety

A truck caught fire in Pleasantville on Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to Doughty Road and Washington Avenue just before 9:30 a.m., acting Fire Chief Keven Vanegas said.

An F-350 was on fire, which was contained to the engine compartment, he told BreakingAC.

“Our guys made a quick knockdown of the fire,” Vanegas said.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire was not suspicious.
