Police rescued a Pleasantville man who was pinned under a vehicle he was working on when the jack failed.
There was not my information when police were called to 712 W. Washington Ave. just after noon Thursday, according to the report.
"My brother! My brother!" a man was yelling outside the residence.
K-9 Officer Jeff Vanegas was the first to arrive on scene, and saw a man trapped beneath the engine compartment of a vehicle that had collapsed on him, according to the report.
Officers Eric Green and A’mahr Brown arrived right after Vanegas.
Wilton Olivo-Jimenez, 26, was trapped with only his legs visible under the front bumper.

The officers coordinated their efforts and were able to lift the vehicle from the driver’s side wheel well, despite the absence of a wheel.
At the same time, a family member pulled Wilton to safety by his legs.
Wilton was initially unconscious but breathing.
He regained consciousness as Tricare EMS and the Pleasantville Fire Department prepared him for transport to the hospital, according to the report.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City for further treatment.
