Three Atlantic County women's deaths attributed to COVID-19

Three Atlantic County women have died of COVID-19 complications, health officials said.A 59-year-old Absecon resident, 50-year-old from Atlantic City and 72-year-old Galloway Township woman all had underlying health conditions.

Officials also reported 21 more positive, including a 6-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl.The newly confirmed cases include five Atlantic City residents, four from Pleasantville and two each in Egg Harbor , Galloway and Hamilton townships. Brigantine, Folsom, Hammonton, Margate, Ventnor and Weymouth Township each have one newly confirmed case.

The county now has 2,369 confirmed cases, including 1,083 of them having being cleared as recovered and 168 deaths.Atlantic County will continue its testing on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon behind the Public Works yard in Northfield at New Road and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.Those tested must be county residents with symptoms and a prescription.
