SIMPSON
An Atlantic City man was fatally shot in the city on Sunday night.
The shooting happened in the area of New Jersey and Oriental avenues at about 9:45 p.m., police said.
He was identified Monday as Carl Simpson II, 23.
Simpson was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus. Next of kin has been notified.
It was the second homicide in the city in two days. On Saturday, a city woman was fatally stabbed and a man wounded in an
attack at a North Harrisburg Avenue home.
No further information was immediately available.
