One shot overnight in Atlantic City

One man was wounded in an apparent shootout in Atlantic City early Saturday morning.Police were called to the 500 block of Connecticut Avenue by a ShotSpotter alert at 1:16 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Fair said. A 25-year-old man was found in the 500 block of North Massachusetts Avenue with a leg wound, police said.A second man left the area in a car.The victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus. The shooting is under investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 609-347-5788.
