An 18-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was shot inside a vehicle in Vineland.Police were called to Inspira Medical Center at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday, after she was driven there in the same vehicle where the shooting occurred, police said.The bullet went through her upper arm and lodged in her chest, according to the report.The woman, who lives in Lower Alloways Creek, was taken to Cooper Medical System in Camden, where she is listed in critical but stable condition.
Several witnesses and the victim were interviewed by Vineland police detectives along with detectives from the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.The shooting happened in Vineland's Center City section, police said.The investigation is ongoing.Detective Nelson Gonzalez is leading the investigation.
