Atlantic City mayor addresses state of emergency for COVID-19

Atlantic City has declared a state of emergency."All lands within the boundaries of the city of Atlantic City are hereby designated as disaster areas," reads the declaration signed by Mayor Marty Small, Emergency Management Coordinator Scott Evans and Business Administrator Dr. Stephanie Bush-Baskette.This is Small will explain the move during a Facebook Live beginning at 9:15 Saturday night.It will also be livestreamed here.The decision was made Friday, and did not involve the state, Small told BreakingAC."As of this video, there are no confirmed cases in Atlantic County or Atlantic City," Small said in his address.
