Three men were arrested with guns and drugs after they were stopped by Atlantic City police in a car reported stolen, according to police.
Officers Jonathan Walsh and Robert Reynolds were looking Friday night for the Toyota reported stolen when they saw the car pass by in the area of Tennessee and Magellan avenues, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
They turned and stopped the vehicle several blocks away, according to the report.
Inside, they found three men, two loaded handguns, marijuana and cocaine, Fair said.
Arrested were Antoine Jones, 21, of Egg Harbor Township, Malik Waddell, 23, of Atlantic City and Marcus Seda, 20, also of Atlantic City.
They were charged with two counts each of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine and marijuana). They also were charged with receiving stolen property. Jones was additionally given two motor vehicle summonses. Waddell and Seda were each charged with joyriding.
The men were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $50,000 bail.
Seda also had two active warrants, adding $500 to his bail.
