A man threatening to jump from a casino garage was rescued Monday morning.
The unnamed man was sitting on the 10th-floor rail of Caesars' parking garage for about an hour.
Negotiators were called to the scene.
Sgt. Joseph Falcone talked to the man for almost two hours, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
He can be seen in video posted on Facebook as the man swings his legs, and even changes position.
Falcone appears to be inching closer at times. Then, he moves quickly, grabbing the man around the waist and pulling him inside.
Gladys Brantley was at the hospital with a relative when she saw the man across the way, and she began recording.
At one point, her Facebook live video had more than 3,000 viewers watching the incident as it unfolded. It now has reached more than 40,000 overall views.
She told BreakingAC she was nervous, "only because I didn't want him to jump."
Brantley said the family prayed he would be OK. The video ended soon after the man was tackled.
The man, whose name is not being released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for evaluation.
Members of the Atlantic City Police Department's Crisis Negotiation Team also assisted.
The full video can be viewed here. The rescue happens with about 20 seconds left.
