Surveillance Center officers help catch couple stealing from Boardwalk business, police say

Officers inside Atlantic City’s surveillance center helped catch a couple stealing tools from a closed Boardwalk business, police said.
Tory Falciani and Thomas Fagan were seen entering the closed AC Beer Garden at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The couple took tool boxes from the business on the 2700 block and trying to hide them under the Boardwalk.
Surveillance Center personnel gave responding officers a description of the suspects, according to the report. Tourism District Unit officers arrived, and quickly arrested Falciani and Fagan.
The tools were recovered and returned to the business owner.
Falciani, 35, of Somers Point, and Fagan, 35, of Atlantic City, were each charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy. The couple, who lists themselves as married on their Facebook pages, were released on summonses.
Anyone with information about this incident asked to contact Atlantic City police at 609-347-5858.  Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411), beginning the text with ACPD. Inside a room filled with monitors, retired Atlantic City Patrolman John Loughney is once again patrolling the city. Loughney is one of nine veteran officers who has returned to work as a Special Law Enforcement Officer, of SLEO, working an hourly rate without benefits

I was talking to a friend the other day and they were telling me that for businesses, it is becoming increasingly more common to make use of cloud video to manage their business sureveillance. My friend told me that it is worth understanding for any business owner so you can protect your establishment better.
