An Egg Harbor City man had more than 600 bags of heroin and $1,000 in cash during a car stop in Galloway last week, police said.
Jason Cintron, 35, was stopped at about 4:20 p.m. Thursday at South County Boulevard and West Dahlia Avenue, according to the report.
An investigation found he had 618 bags of heroin and less than 50 grams of marijuana, police said.
His vehicle along with $1,000 was seized pending asset forfeiture proceedings, police said.
He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.
