A Pleasantville man died Sunday, after his car struck a tree in Absecon.
Glen Mclean, 44, was heading north on the 300 block of South Shore Road at about 2:30 a.m., when the vehicle left the road, went airborne and struck a tree, police said.
Mclean was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, but speed is believed to be a factor, police said.
The road was closed for about seven hours while the crash was investigated.
The Absecon Fire Department assisted at the scene.
