A Camden County is accused of stabbing an Atlantic City man during an altercation Monday.
City police were called to Kentucky and Atlantic avenues at 4:19 a.m., but found no victim, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Then police received a call from the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus at 5:09 a.m., for a 60-year-old man who walked in with multiple stab wounds, according to the report.
The unnamed victim told Officer Randy Rodriguez-Marte that he was stabbed during a fight in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue, and gave a description of the suspect.
A short time later, Officer Joseph Kelly found a man matching the description at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal, Fair said.
Darren Petti, 37, of Bellmawr, was found in possession of a pocket knife, according to the report.
He was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Petti is currently in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
