Two people were wounded in a shooting Wednesday night, Atlantic City police said.
A ShotSpotter alert brought police to the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue just before 11 p.m., Sgt. Paul Aristizabal said.
There was evidence of gunfire but no victim, according to the report.
A short time later, a 16-year-old girl and 52-year-old woman, both from Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus with gunshot wounds, Aristizabal said.
The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
